Alocasia 'Silver Dragon'

Description: The Alocasia Silver Dragon is one of the most sought-after collector houseplants thanks to its striking silver-gray leaves with deep green veins that create an almost dragon-scale appearance. Despite its exotic look, it's manageable indoors when its needs are understood. The Silver Dragon can grow to be between 1-3 feet, however remains relatively compact, making it ideal for shelves and reading nooks. This Alocasia acts as a natural air purifier, filtering out common household toxins and airborne particulates, and replacing them with fresh oxygen, as well as boosts humidity levels with it's large leaves.
Care: Prefers bright, indirect light, water only when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry, and keep at temperatures between 65-85°F. This houseplant prefers humidity levels between 60-80%, which can be achieved by placing with other houseplants, a humidifier, or growing in a cabinet. Repotting should only occur every 1-2 years or when roots poke through drainage holes. While repotting, look for corms in their root system. Each corm can be propagated to produce a new plant!
